DAVID AND REBEKAH

   

This great couple have long been involved with the wonderful horses and ponies at Heads Up! Therapeutic Riding.  When Camille began putting together Saturday morning riding lessons, they signed up and began to enjoy their equine friends from the saddle.  Tara has all kinds of horse savvy and co-teaches the lessons.

 

PHILLIP AND TONKA

 

Phillip had never been on a horse and has taken to it like a fish to water!

 

TONKA DOES DOUBLE DUTY

 

On this particular morning, Rose came up lame, so we decided to split the lesson on Tonka between Phillip and David.  Kate, another wonderful horse person, coaches David into the two-point position at the trot.

 

ZAN TAKES REBEKAH FOR A RIDE

 

Beautiful Zan has very stiff knees due to an trailer accident years ago.   Cantering is a lot easier for her than trotting, so we decided that Rebekah should try the next gait up.  It was a scary moment for Rebekah but she conquered her fear and kept her cool.  There are few things as empowering as tackling something scary and coming out alive on the other side!
