BOB AND CAMILLE'S LAST DAYS ON MAUI AND FIRST DAYS IN NICARAGUA
On December 3rd we took the afternoon off to go visiting. We stopped at the Surfing Goat Dairy to say goodbye to Thomas and Eva and picked up some cheese. Then we went over to see Janet and Gerry on their organic farm. For more photos click on Hale Kupa'a.
RELAXING AT HOME
Later on, we invited John and Koa over. The grownups drank beer and looked at pictures of Little Corn Island while Koa played nearby.
Joe and Susi invited us over for dinner on December 5th. For more photos click on Goodbyes.
Same truck, different year - Shaun lent us the flatbed to move all our stuff again 18 months after the last move. For more photos of the exhilarating and sometimes painful moving process click on Moving From Maui.

TWO DAYS LATER
We found ourselves flying over Nicaragua towards Bluefields after spending time in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Houston and Managua.
LITTLE CORN ISLAND - FRONT SIDE
Otherwise known as "en frente."
En Frente is where the panga deposits guests for their stay on Little Corn.
The dive shop handles snorkeling and diving excursions while we provide food and shelter at Casa Iguana.
Casa Viejo (old house) is the house Cathy and Grant used to live in. It has now become our New House.
Cathy and Grant have done a lot of work towards stopping the inhumane slaughter of sea turtles. This is the side of the tool shed behind our new home. Our outdoor toilet and shower are to the left of the tool shed in this photo.

Past a group of tourists, he goes.
And speeding off towards town.
Bob sorts through his tools at his new desk.
The garden is very happy with all the rain. Mustard greens, chilies, komatsuna and lemongrass all find their way onto the dinner menu in salads, sauces, condiments and simply sautéed as a side dish.
Cilantro and eggplant are also frequently featured on our menu.

CHRISTMAS, CARGO CULT STYLE
Grant and Cathy ordered this new washing machine and it showed up on Christmas day.
Ysidrio and David carry it up towards the lodge.
CHRISTMAS FOR THE DOGS
