BOB AND CAMILLE IN NICARAGUA

and (Hey, What?!) ALASKA

ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE

The sun rose as pretty as a picture over the Caribbean outside the beach at Casa Iguana on July 2nd.

DOING THE RIGHT THING

Molly takes full advantage of her summer vacation on two separate occasions.

END OF THE DAY

Bob and Jorge take a break on the deck of the lodge before the dinner crowd moves in.

FISH TALES

You cannot tell a fishing story without using your hands.

SEWING BEES

Molly and Camille sew pieces of fabric together to make futon covers for the rooms.

DOG DAYS

Stella and Walker look surprisingly cool despite temperature in the 90's and humidity to match.

THE GOOD LIFE

Molly gets ready to enjoy a chocolate cupcake in our hotel room in Managua on July 12th.

THE STREETS OF MANAGUA

Whenever the taxi stops at a light, people come to the car windows with something to sell.

We paid these two cute little girls a few pesos for the privilege of taking their picture.

GRACIOUS HOSTS

Cecile and Silvio invited us to come stay at their home in Jinotepe (heen o te pay) and we happily accepted.  For more pictures of our happy friends and our 5-day stay in this sleepy little Nicaraguan town and the Carazo District click on Hanging Out in Jinotepe.

HEY, WHAT?

What is this photo of a tide pool along the Bartlett River in Glacier Bay National Park doing in our Photo Album?

NORTH TO ALASKA

Our good friend, Pamela invited us to come stay with her in Alaska, for a month of rest and relaxation which will include biking, hiking, kayaking, and of course, eating.  For more photos of our fun-filled month in el norte, click on Gustavus.

THIS MONTH'S QUOTES:

(Like a herd of turtles, they broke camp and headed north...)
