COMERICA PARK, HOME OF THE DETROIT TIGERS

 

Now that the hard work was over, it was time to do a little sightseeing, beginning with a visit to the baseball park.  Charlie looks like he's about to get swatted by a giant cement tiger.

 

The tiger art was all over the stadium. This is the kind of public art that is sadly missing from most of our world today.

 

I LOVE THE SMELL OF HISTORY IN THE MORNING

You wouldn't know it to look at it, but the Piquette Ave Plant, built in 1904 and birthplace of the Model T,  may be the most significant auto heritage site in the world.
