PLAYING WITH THE PONIES
IN WHICH CHERYL INVITED SHARYL AND CAMILLE TO COME WALKABOUT HER FARM AND PLAY WITH HER SIX BOYS

SCOOTER AND CODE RED
Scooter is Cheryl's husband Jim's buckskin Foxtrotter gelding. Standing behind him is Codee, a chestnut colored Tennessee Walker. Scooter didn't have much to say and Codee was a bit shy.
DUSTY
The horse in the next run, however wasn't shy in the least. In fact, Dusty seemed determined not to miss anything! A Tennessee Walker, he is quite tall as he stands behind Sharyl. Notice the duct tape bandage on Dusty's front feet. They are bandaged because he foundered (another name for Laminitis) a couple of weeks ago.
Cheryl plays a nose-rubbing game which made her laugh. She has her left hand on Quicksilver's nose. We used to enjoy watching Jesse doing what we called "nose boxing" with the other geldings. Boys like to play and some of them will play all day!
QUICKSILVER AND DUSTY

QUICKSILVER
This beautiful horse is also a Fox Trotter. You can tell by the look on Sharyl's face that she is a sucker for Silver-colored horses.
TENORIO
Aptly named for Don Juan Tenorio, this is Cheryl's young, Andalusian Stallion. He really isn't this wild all the time, I just caught him tossing his head. He also, is very outgoing and didn't want to miss anything.
ACTUALLY, A VERY SWEET BOY
Cheryl shows me and Sharyl just how sweet and loving her Don Juan can be.
Albeit a slight bit mischievous, which is normal for his age.
What a beautiful horse he is going to be as he fills out. In my mind, and in the minds of many others, Andalusians are the prettiest breed of horse. Famous photographer, Robert Vavra immortalized many Andalusians in his beautiful photographs.

JAYTAAN
The oldest horse in Cheryl's barn, Jay is her "do-anything" Arabian. Over the years, she has taught him quite a few tricks.
Jay nods "Yes." in response to the question, "Do you want a carrot?" (and a signal from Cheryl.)
He also knows how to shake his head, "No!"
LOTS OF LAUGHS
Which is common whenever the three of us get together.
There's nothing quite as nice as hanging outside with good friends, surrounded by the sweet smells of horse and hay and making each other laugh in the sun.
