A BLAST FROM THE PAST

In honor of Bob's 48th and Emily's 19th birthdays.

September, 2006

A HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN NEW ORLEANS

Bob's older brother Jim helps Bob celebrate his second birthday in 1960.

CHRISTMAS, 1961

This is the photograph Bob used to win Camille's heart.  He gave her a copy with a balloon asking, "Will you come play with me forever?"  Naturally, she was unable to resist and they have been playing together ever since.

DINO BOY, 1962

Apparently, Bob was fascinated by dinosaurs like most of the children from his generation.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION 1964

Another happy day!

1964

This is the same day Bob graduated from Kindergarten.  Notice he is still waiting for his adult teeth to grow in.  He lost his baby teeth prematurely in an accident and went a couple of years without his front teeth.

EMILY'S DEBUT - 1987

This is Emily's first day on the planet.

1987

Emily, when she looked like a dandelion gone to seed.

1988

This photo supports the theory that children are born knowing everything there is to know in the world and that by the time they learn to talk, they've forgotten most of what they knew and replaced it with "useful" information such as how to dress themselves and when not to walk across the street.

Emily sports a Bronco shirt made by her grandmother, Alice Armantrout.

OUR LITTLE COWGIRL, 1993

Emily poses outside the horse pen on the two acre property east of Loveland, Colorado Camille and Bob lived on for a few years with their two saddle horses.
