TEXAS, HERE WE COME!

SAME AS IT EVER WAS

We're looking forward to settling into this cute cottage with its acre of bluebells.  The plan to move was brought up from the back burner at the end of March, giving us a few, short weeks to pack it up and move, which is not at all unusual for us.

 

THE INSIDE SCOOP

 

The house from the side and the kitchen.  Stone outside and hardwood floors inside - what could be a better fit for us?  With a living room dining room and two bedrooms, it is about twice the room we're accustomed to living in.

 

ON THIS STREET

Your average residential street.

The cottage sits on an acre with 30 trees and a garage.  Nothing like a little elbow room!

 

IN THIS TOWN

 

Denton, Texas, thirty-some miles north of Dallas features the Denton County Court House On the Square.  The tulips were already coming up in the parks.  We plan on staying in town for about six months.

 

SPRING IS COMING ON IN DENTON

The Bradford Pears were in bloom.

And they were everywhere!

 

FUN THINGS TO DO IN DENTON

The local activity is spotting the orange Frenchy's Lawn and Tree Service trucks around town.  They move them often from what we hear.  Check out this photo of their Remember Our Troops truck.
