Emily wed Tyler on September 2nd, 2016 to the delight of one hundred well wishers – friends and family from near and far.
TYLER AND EMILY
Man and Wife! It seemed cruel to make you wait, so we put this picture first.
LONE HAWK FARM
Roll back five or six hours. The venue was perfectly picturesque, with lots of elbow room and amenities to keep everyone comfortable.
THE WEDDING PLANNER
Emily’s long-time friend Jamie laid it all out and made it happen. Her table settings speak for themselves. In fact, all activities and decorations reflected her good taste and flair for fun. Everything went as planned, fluid and seemingly effortless. Amazingly, Jamie and her husband Brian were in the process of moving, and yet neither seemed the least bit stressed.
SET-UP CREW
Lorraine and Molly taking a break. Camille and Amy goofing around with the little LED candles.
TESTING
Papa Paul tests the sound system with daughter Michelle using his patented bird call technique.
DRESSING ROOM
This paneled room was the hub where makeup, hair, and gowns came together for the bride and her maids. A cooler of champagne and a tray of dipped strawberries courtesy of the Farm intensified the festive ambiance.
BEAUTIFUL
The girls sipped champagne, becoming lovelier by the minute.
THEY DID
Everything culminated in this precious scene where Emily and Tyler pledged their love and future. Tears ensued.
THE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS
After the ceremony, the professional photographer got to work.
Beautifully done!
DINNER
Dinner was delicious. Lisa, Scott, and Bob – friends since the seventies, caught up on years of conversation. Tyler’s parents, Roger and Tina beamed.
TOASTING THE NEWLYWEDS
The featured drink was a nice blend of blackberry dark and stormy with ginger beer, and of course there was champagne, wine, and beer. After dinner, Lorraine and Bob toasted the happy couple, as did Tyler’s best man, Josh.
FATHER/DAUGHTER, MOTHER/SON DANCE
Bob and Emily, and Tina and Tyler had the first dance of the evening.
MAHLON!
We had a great time hanging out with long-time vice partner Mahlon, best man at our wedding and Emily’s godfather.
BABY LOVE
Emily and Tyler’s Nolan was a constant source of entertainment for Molly, Amy, and many others.
It was a most memorable day in every aspect. Camille wrote about all her feelings at Plastic Farm Animals with: Walking Down the Aisle of Time
