Sharyl and Rob put us up in their comfy home – September 1 through 3, 2016
HAVEN’T AGED A BIT
Been years since we took the following photo and it appears we haven’t aged a bit.
Nine years ago, from Our 2007 Colorado visit
THE KIDS, GROWN
Mikayla and Logan are a whole lot more mature than they were nine years ago. There’s an empty nest on the horizon for our friends.
MONTY
Monty doesn’t look a day older, either.
SUNDAY MORNING
Camille joined Sharyl on her customary Sunday morning walk, down the lane beside their pasture and through the easement Logan uses to walk to school. Sharyl often calls Camille so they can talk on the phone while she walks. It was a sweet treat to walk and talk in person.
SALT OF THE EARTH
Sharyl and Rob operate a small tree farm, and have been helping her family farm wheat in eastern Colorado. Their old farm truck was featured in Sharyl’s niece’s wedding. Coincidentally, Sharyl’s niece was married the day after Emily and Tyler at the same farm. So well all had a lot of wedding-related running around to do, making those moments we shared together all that more special.
THE KLITCH FAMILY
Margie arranged to have the whole family get together so we could see everyone at once. Tony and Felicia hosted in their beautiful back yard. From left, Felicia, Tony, Joel, Tim, Margie, Bob and Camille. Seated, Karson, Robin, and Karlee.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROBIN!
Just enough breeze to make keeping the candle lit a group effort.
PRECIOUS AND PRECOCIOUS
Tony and Felicia’s children were great fun to entertain. Robin and Karlee made chalk drawings while Karson and Bob delved into the Pokemon world.
