The legacy continues with another year of Spot photos. We picked this idea up at Casa Iguana, a diving and fishing resort on Little Corn Island off the coast of Nicaragua where it was the custom to snap a Polaroid of guests posed beside a beautiful stretch of Caribbean beach.
Spot, a life sized zebra crafted in Mexico from steel milk cans lives in in our front yard. He arrived shortly after we signed the papers for our home and at about the same time we decided to begin our own picture taking tradition. The first time anyone comes to our house we ask them if they’ll pose with Spot for a photo and as it turns out, he is the perfect foil for candid photos. As you can see, very few friends crossed our threshold for the first time in 2018.
