BOB
AND CAMILLE AT HOME ON MAUI

WINTER SURF

A drive to the north shore on
November 30th gave us a chance to see some big surf turn Ho’okipa into a
cauldron of white water.  No one surfs this stuff, they all just stand
and watch.

STAND BACK!

Bob fired up the Maui
Recycling Service pressure Washer after replacing the biodiesel with
kerosene to troubleshoot a performance problem.  Once the smoke
cleared, we were happy to find that the problem was solved.

SUCCULENT EXPANSION

In addition to our vegetable
garden above, we’ve created many other gardens.  On November 17, we
added a dozen succulents to this rock garden.  For more photos of this
month’s adventures in landscaping, click on Grounds
for Improvement.

OVER ZEALOUS BOYSENBERRY BEER

This keg of brew (on the
right) nearly got away from us.  It’s a keg of Atonement Beer (that’s
the recipe name) that Bob brewed up on November 9th.  He heard it in
the night and found the fermenter the next morning, listing badly, blowing
bubbles, and whistling.

HANGING OUT WITH OUR FRIENDS

We helped Wilma set up a Maui
Recycling Group display booth at the Kaahumanu Center on November 9th.
Cynthia takes the clippers to her horse, Pele and it’s obvious that Pele
isn’t too sure about the strange noise and vibration on her skin.

DINNER AT CHEZ DANIEL

We were treated to a sumptuous
meal at the home of Irene and Dan on November 6th after all four of us spent
an hour moving plants around in the back yard.  Bob shows off the
appetizer of grilled asparagus with a delicious marinara sauce.  Dan
stood by his grill and took photos.
