MASTER OF CEREMONIES
The Mayor stands outside the courthouse and waits for the parade to come to the round about.
COOKIE WAITS, TOO
Cookie waits for ponies across the street from the Chatham County Courthouse.
IT ALL BEGINS WITH MARCHING BANDS
Generally the first to come up the street, with the horses at the rear. It took years before I realized the wisdom of this arrangement.
