SNOW DAY

SURPRISE!
Our mascot, Spot was so surprised to wake up and find himself wearing a snow blanket.
He looked over at the neighbors yard and there was snow everywhere!
LET’S STAY HOME
There was talk of a meeting in town but the road was a sheet of ice and we gave away our ice skates years ago so we decided not to take the car out.
OUT AND ABOUT
So we went for a walk to the pond behind our neighbor’s house, crossing the bridge they made by hand.
POND AND PADDIES
Bob took some very nice pictures along our walk and we have to admit, even though we would be happy if we never saw another winter, it can be pretty to look at. Especially the sun glinting off the ice on the pond and Jason and Haruka’s rice paddies beneath a blanket of snow.
HOME SWEET HOME
It was good to get back home after our little stroll and contemplate a cozy afternoon in front of the fireplace, eating soup and sipping wine.
HA HA
And Spot was laughing because he didn’t have to go anywhere to get back home!
