BOB
AND CAMILLE AT HOME ON MAUI
THE TUNNEL BENEATH THE HOG
BACK
Bob took this picture of Pam,
Shaun and Camille inside the tunnel that runs under the hog back.
Shaun and Pam invited us to explore their new neighborhood with a hike on
January 18. They recently moved to this very interesting place from
Kihei.

THIS BEER HAS A GOOD HEAD ON
ITS SHOULDERS
There are very few
commercially brewed beers that stand up to Bob’s home made beer. He
bottles and brews two kegs each weekend to keep up with demand.
INSIDE OUT
We brought this epiphyte
inside and put the African Violet out. They are both very pleased with
the arrangement. We watched the Violet for months for signs of
distress but all it did was send out a flurry of blooms.

tree matter, including this huge frond from the Oil Palm.
RECYCLING ROYALTY
Camille gets to run with the
big dogs when she works with Joy Webster – the Queen of Recycling on Maui
and her heir apparent, Wilma Nakamura. This month’s project was
publishing Volume 3, Issue 2 of Maui Recycling Group’s Recycling Guide.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Poinsettias must be the
happiest color in the world. No wonder they come into their own just
in time to welcome the new year!
