Maui Nui Botanical Gardens
Four
years in a row, we have volunteered to spend a day helping educate people
regarding Earth Stewardship.
COMMAND
PERFORMANCE
Bob explains
the finer points of the closed carbon cycle and how it keeps his engine
clean.
Everybody
loves the bug. It is a great way to get people interested in renewable fuels and recycling in general.
VOLUNTEERS
Seated on one

Aloha Recycling and Maui Recycling Group. Standing in back are Mike
Hegedus, Maui EKO and Bob Armantrout, Pacific Biodiesel. All of these
folks took time to talk to others about sustainable living.

one of Bob’s former co-workers also tabled at this event on behalf of
the Kaho’olawe Island Reserve.
THE BAND
No event is
complete without music. The band attracted a happy group of listeners.
ULU
This beautiful
tree produces breadfruit, locally known as Ulu. In Belize, we called
it Masa Pan and on Guam, we called it Lemai. In any language,
breadfruit means delicious!
