A Birthday Party

A BIRTHDAY PARTY

AT SHAUN AND PAM’S HOUSE

July 10, 2004

GETTING DOWN
TO BUSINESS

Bob and Shaun get down to business on the front porch while Pamela throws the final touches on dinner.

HIDEAWAY

This youngster knows a great place to hang out.  There was a nice dish of food tucked away underneath Bob’s chair.  Speaking of food, Pam served us edame soy bean pods for pupus and then brought out Camille’s favorite dish – (vegan) turkey tetrazzini, which we ate with salad and rolls hot from the oven.

GARDEN GODDESS

A home is not a home unless it has its very own Pamela.

AFTER DINNER STROLL

Pam took Camille on a walk through the neighborhood where we took photos of our shadows, among other things.

GLOWING IN THE SUNSET

I have never seen a plumeria quite as colorful as this one.

After our walk, Pamela brought out her photo albums from Alaska and asked Camille to choose some prints for her birthday. We were amazed at the majestic landscapes and many candid shots of wildlife, including wolves, bears and whales. It was hard to choose but I did my best.

JUST DESSERT

What is this?  It is a dragon fruit, given to us by Hoss and taken to dinner as a dessert offering.  Unfortunately, even after a walk, we still didn’t have room for dessert. Pam had to send us home with the chocolate cake, tapioca and shredded coconut she had intended for dessert.
