Celebrating 10 years with Maui Recycling Service at Kamaole Beach Park

BEACH PARTY
The whole Maui Recycling Service group gathered beneath this huge fig tree to celebrate Ruben Ortiz’s 10 years of service.
Pamela cooked for days to provide a Vegan Fest.
Ruben brought his children and grandchildren. Ruben Jr. also works for Maui Recycling Service.
WARMING UP THE GRILL
Shaun and Bob pass the time while watching the charcoal turn into embers. They worked very hard lighting the briquettes without the use of lighter fluid.
CHEWING THE FAT
Shaun, (clockwise) Bob, Rick, Christina, Pamela and Ruben Junior solve the problems of the world while their lunch settles.
HACKEY SACK
This game has become a standard pastime at Maui Recycling Service. It involves a small, round bean-bag and a lot of eye to foot coordination.

Hackey sack is a great way to relax and is generally good for a couple of laughs.
AYE CHIHUAHUA!
Hoss, who turns out to be Ruben’s cousin brought his little dog. She is trying to get a taste of Hoss’s beer.
PAMELA BY THE SEA
Wearing a sea-colored dress, Pamela stands in front of West Maui. The sea is her element. In Alaska, barely a day went by that she wasn’t on the water in her Kayak. She is enjoying a break from her catering while the guys play hackey sack
WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE
Tired from their long game, the guys retired to the shade of the Fig Tree. Rick seems to be questioning something that Bob has just said while Ruben and Shaun look to see what the answer will be.
