SUBSTRATES


I believe the bags on the left are filled with grain which is then sprouted or fermented and the bags on the right are inoculated dowels which can then be inserted into another medium.

Here’s the fun part – everybody got to make a bag of mushroom growing medium from this pile of sawdust and other stuff.

All the bags are stacked on pallets and loaded into a retort.

For pasteurization.
