Halloween

HALLOWEEN

October 31, 2008

IT ALL STARTED OUT FRIGHTENINGLY NORMAL

Amanda and Jill were doing their normal thing over at WDL while Kim industriously planted shade tree seedlings in the parking lot at the Plant.

AND THEN THE CLUES BEGAN ROLLING IN

Moya certainly looked like her normal self, albeit a little cleaner than usual, but then there was this odd looking Buddha head on the kitchen table…

GUESS WHO?

When Jason arrived, wearing the wrong colored hair, some of us weren’t sure who he was.

AND THEN PEOPLE STARTED CHANGING CLOTHES

One minute Haruka was dressed in slacks and the next, she was in a Sari.

And then Lyle and Tami came in with their costumes.

A WORKING LUNCH

Mary Beth set up a donut eating contest.

STATE OF THE BUBBLE MEETING

We love this monthly meeting in which we pass the ‘bubble’ and have our say about what’s going on in our world.

Lyle, Kim and Camille all got to make a few points.

CUB PHOTOGRAPHER, TAMI

Tami took many of these State of the Bubble photos and also recorded the goings ons at Piedmont’s Halloween Party.

THE GRAND FINALE

And then it was off to Bynum to place our newly carved Jack-O-Lanterns on the bridge that spans the Haw River.

Jill carved the pumpkin on the left and Bob, the one on the right. He carved one of his favorite movie characters of all time – Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas.

Camille carved the scariest thing she could think of. Thank you, Jill for capturing the image.
