CASA PELIGROSO or Machetes for Tourists
Due to a few incidents involving locals and tourists, Grant bought 50 new machetes and brought them down to the hotel. He was determined to make a point.
PROYECTO DEL DIA
As the first order of the day, March 3rd, David and Pablo put a nice edge on the new blades.
ART IMITATES WORK
Grant paints words on a wheelbarrow while Peter and Audrey, two of our guests look on.
Next, he paints a sign advertising free machetes.
CASA PELIGROSO
Big knives and dogs – it doesn’t get much safer than this. Or is it dangerous? Walker, being the good dog that he is, sits and guards the sharpened machetes.
DOWN TO THE DIVE SHOP
Bob and Grant took the machetes and sign to the Dive Shop and put them on display.
So far, only local takers along with Bob, Tim, Zoe, Chelsea and Per.
Everybody had to admit how nicely the sign turned out.
Not long after this stunt, the police came to the island and removed a panga load of troublemakers.
