A VISIT WITH JESSE

May 27, 2005

CALL OF THE CAN

Julie brought him in with a few shakes of the grain can.

STAR STRUCK

Camille self-consciously poses with her old pal.

Jesse was Bob’s horse for 5 years before giving him to Julie to keep.

PUTTING A SHINE ON THE DAPPLE

Julie and Bob curried and brushed Jesse until his dapples shone.

Only healthy coats sprout dapples. You’ve heard of a dappled gray, but there are also dappled bays, like Jesse.

TIME TO RIDE

Jesse still remembers his side pass.

And his Calvary start.

Camille enjoys a canter around the arena.

As well as a spin around Julie and Heath’s Front Range pasture.

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END

Back to the gate, where Jesse knows exactly what to do – stop and stand.

And Camille hops down.
