FIRST STOP – DAVID AND SUSAN’S<\/h3>\n
Lots of joshing around and tale telling going on\u00a0between Shelley and John, Camille and Megan in Susan’s garden at our first stop.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sweet smelling phlox and faux-ornery attitudes from Alisa, Jay, Shelley, and Zara.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After an hour of noshing the delectable treats provided by David, Susan, Olivia, Lara, and Jim, we headed south on Altadore Crescent.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lyle, Bob, Aaron, Luke, Lexie and Shelley hang out on the back porch and parking area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Owen, Noah and Connor found the fishnet stocking leg lamp amusing. Everyone enjoyed back yard darts.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Camille and Tami have been cozying up to each other for ten years. It never gets old.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Megan’s was next on our list, fifteen minutes west. Last year she installed a nifty pond.<\/p>\n It’s all Eastery inside Megan’s house this time of year, and the weather is perfect for drinks on her\u00a0back deck. Megan is front and center with a glass of to-die-for punch, behind her is John and his daughter Paige, wife Jean, and to the right, their son Nick. Aaron and his daughter Nora lean on the railing and look towards the pond.<\/p>\n There are lots of places to hang out at Megan’s’ living room, lawn, pond, walking trail, and back deck. Bob, Kathie, Lexie, Tami, and Lyle settled on a sunny table on the deck for a spell.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 Robyn and Alex, our neighbors two doors down. Jean, Nora, and Aaron with Megan’s blue bottle tree in the background.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The kids had to be plucked from\u00a0the pond mud when it came time to leave. We won’t tell you what Eden was up to here. Daniel prepares for departure.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Owen with a stick-built gun. Aaron with a moss banner on his staff.<\/p>\n Sticks and wood are the cheapest toys ever, requiring a little paint and maybe some glue.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alex gives Shelley a hand. Giovanna carrying Eden’s painted gun is followed by Eden and Lara. Mary Beth and Paige step across on the turtle rock.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We were pleasantly surprised to find the trout lilies in bloom. Susan and Olivia are down to their shirt sleeves as the afternoon warms up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It made us happy to see Carl’s bench in use as we approached. Camille jumped in and had a sit\u00a0with Owen, Noah, Camille, Nora, and Conner.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tami, Lyle, Whitney, and Ben hosted the last stop with coolers of beer and stellar food thanks to Chef Whitney. Sadly, Ben missed the fun because he had to work. Whitney holds one of her twin boys on her hip while Alisa cuddles Whitney’s dog Snarl. Nora got in on the act with a bright-eyed\u00a0grin.<\/p>\n Paige and Camille share a beer. Later, Paige wandered up to the goat pen with her brother Nick.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bob shows off Lyle’s Air B&B welcome book. Tami relaxes with a beer. Ben’s art graces the walls.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Without Tami, there wouldn’t be a Trail Crawl.
