ON THE ROAD<\/h3>\n

We had a bumper crop of Seminole pumpkins this year, so Camille borrowed Debbee’s pumpkin custard recipe and made graham cracker crust pumpkin tarts.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bob flew through Denver on his way home from Canada, met Camille at the airport, and we stayed with Emily and Tyler for a couple of nights to meet baby Evelyn. Shane and Molly drove down for Sunday brunch.<\/p>\n Amy drove in from Cheshire, Oregon with her dog, Osha. Bob rented a White Dodge Charger which came in handy for early morning coffee runs. We made good use of the lake park, an easy mile walk from the house.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ned came over for Emily and Tyler’s annual Games Night and we used the opportunity to take a traditional “cool old guys in sunglasses” photo. More pictures at Colorado Family Visit.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We all threw down a traditional shot of tequila at Mahlon’s new apartment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It might seem like a lot of work for two people, but fussing over holiday meals is so, so worth it.
