<\/a><\/p>\nChristine and Lou made it to the finish line in terms of planning a beautiful event and sit poised to plunge into a lifetime of adventure together.<\/p>\n
BROTHERS AND SISTERS<\/h4>\n
Everyone was dressed for the occasion, including Bob and Deb and photographers Darla and John.<\/p>\n It was a perfect afternoon for the wedding reception although there was a chance of rain in the forecast which sent brother Jim and Bob to their phones to check the radar.<\/p>\n On top of planning the wedding of the century, Kathryn and James are in the process of buying a new home by the lake. We took a little trip over to check it out with Joe and Mom and found it to be a beautiful wooded lakefront property.<\/p>\n Joe drove Mom to the wedding and she bopped around with us in New Jersey. Here she is in the back yard of the Lake House and sitting on the screened in back porch.<\/p>\n Catherine gave Camille four pairs of socks which Camille wore proudly through the streets of Harlem. This particular pair sported images of African animals which is fitting in light of Bob’s new job which will send us to Kumasi, Ghana to work on a biodiesel project.<\/p>\n Bob booked us two nights at Aloft in Harlem so he could spend the day working with his new employer and co-worker at Columbia University. We found the streets to be ultimately energizing and teeming with all variety of people in every kind of garb imaginable. Most notable, in view of our impending trip to Africa were the stately women in beautiful, bright, traditional African dresses and head dresses.<\/p>\n Mom was jazzed to hear about about Bob’s connection because Dad earned his MA and PhD at Columbia. They were married in the beautiful Chapel there in 1953.<\/p>\n The next day we headed south across the George Washington Bridge, down to DC and one more night at Ned’s.
