BRUNCH ABUNDANCE AND SHAKORI SHOOTERS<\/h3>\n
Tyler and Emily prepare a dozen “Shakori Shooters”, tequila with a bit of Kahlua thrown in for a smooth finish.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Stephen and Bob work on getting some firewood prepped for a trip to Shakori.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tyler and Amy jumped in as well.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Blanche always looks forward to Shakori trips – as do the rest of us.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tyler and Bob strapped the wheelbarrow on top of Blanche to make the haul of stuff to the campsite easier, and then we were off to Shakori where Donna the Buffalo rocked the Meadow Stage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Stephen (and the rest of us) thoroughly enjoyed the Dirty Dozen Brass Band late on Thursday night, and the next day we saw a couple of ladies who clearly benefited from thinking inside the box.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The rain came on Saturday and made for some pretty muddy dancing, but a good time never the less.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We managed to get a “family shot” with all hands on deck. Shane, Camille, Bob, Molly, Amy, Stephen, Emily, and Tyler gather at Tami and Lyle’s “Club Westy for a party. On the right, a shot of the kid’s campsite where a good time was always happening.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There was a fellow at Shakori with an incredible contraption that would print an important message on folding money, and Camille makes a new zebra friend, one of Spot’s more colorful and talented relatives.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The highlight of the festival for many of us, these two sisters and their band<\/a> rocked the stage at Carson’s Grove on Sunday. Amy is friends and neighbors with Leah (between Bob and her sister Chloe) and the sisters were happy to chat and take a picture with “Amy’s Dad” after the show.<\/p>\n Another chance to get together with family, eat well, and dance! <\/p>\n <\/p>\n ANOTHER GREAT MEAL <\/p>\n \n Sourdough pancakes with tofu scamble, fried seitan, and family.
