AFTER THE RAIN<\/h3>\n
We lucked out. Our compost presentation was scheduled for Saturday and that was the one day out of four that it didn’t rain. As you can see, the ruts were formidable.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Even the footing inside the tents was sloppy, and the main field at the meadow looked like a big mud pie.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We have our eye on this fanciful zebra. A tipsy purple caboose attracted all ages of children.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Despite the conditions, the campgrounds were full. When navigating across the wetter spots, one soon learned to keep their eye on their feet. The showers were unexpectedly upscale, with potted plants, even.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We treated ourselves to Salvatore’s pizza and later, Camille got herself a pina colada smoothie. Every square inch seemed well-trodden.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sammy and Joe were smart to wear high rubber boots.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Although many, like Nick and Hannah gave up on their shoes and went barefoot.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We count on Tami and Lyle to throw a party at their camp in the family campground. They sleep in their blue Westie, affectionately referred to as Baby Blue.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There’s nothing better than getting together with your friends and chatting away an afternoon. Leif and Tami discuss the finer points of something noteworthy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is a new addition to the camp, a guest room as it were.
