WALKING SOFTLY WITH SUSI
On a beautiful winter day on Maui, Susi took her friend, Camille for a walk in her neighborhood.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
Susi walks softly and carries a big stick. Camille wore an outfit that matched the sky.
AND THE UGLY
Not all lawns are created equal.
On our walk, we saw all kinds of interesting landscaping and heard the calls of Cardinals, Java Sparrows, Mynahs and Francolins. We huffed up the hills, neatly dodged the delivery trucks, said howdee to the mail man, carried rocks as insurance against one unpredictable dog and looked for caterpillars on a huge crown flower plant.
FANCY THAT
Susi took a fancy to this miniature plumeria. Isn’t it the cutest thing? Just like Susi! We also saw some stunning roses in yellow and deep pink.
AND OH, THE VIEWS
Behind us, the Pali.
In front, the view of Kahului Harbor.
WHAT DID YOU SAY THE NAME OF THIS WAS?
We saw these fragrant flowers and I’ve already forgotten the name of the plant. Susi knows.
This is the same plant with its fruit which resembles a mango.
