Spring Shakori 2018

Music and friends at Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance – Saturday, May 5, 2018

WE COME FOR THE MUSIC

Rising Appalachia is one of fifty bands that performed at this year’s spring music festival. If you have not heard their music, you are in for a treat!

AND WE STAY FOR THE PARTIES

Although we do try not to lose our heads…

KERSTEN’S BIRTHDAY

Arlo plays the happy birthday song, everyone sings along, and Gillian presents the cake. That’s how it’s done.

As incredibly delicious as it is beautiful. Brought to us by Phoenix Bakers in downtown Pittsboro.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Tami, Lexie, and Gillian set everything up for Kersten’s birthday cocktail party. We don’t know where they got these ants, but they are super cool, marching across the table to deliver cherry tomatoes and slices of cucumber.

HAPPINESS IS HANGING OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS

Hannah (far right) and her friends. Lindsay, and Cookie.

Arlo and his mom. Leif and Hope.

THE SAGE AND THE BLUE SPARKLE FOX

Bob and his mentee, Arlo, wearing one of his tied dyed Hempsmith tees.

IDENTIFICATION CHALLENGE

For a little while, Camille was inspired to take pictures of people’s feet. Can you identify their owners?

MORE ENTERTAINMENT

Chess, and laughter-provoking stories.

Arlo and Zemo belt out a tune.
