Bob flies to Utah for a series of audits and does a little sightseeing – August 11-14
OH BABY
Some flights involve being kicked in the back by rambunctious children. Noise cancelling head phones help.
VIEWS FROM ABOVE
The Green River oxbows its way across the landscape, as do the meandering roads carved to support fracking.
ROAD WORTHY
In the luck of the car rental draw, Bob ended up with a Dodge Challenger, which was super fun. We wonder if over-sized loads get moved after hours in the dark of night.
ANTHONY, POU, AND THE GREASE TRAP
Some folks enjoy looking into holes, and since Bob was there to see the grease trap, Anthony brought his hook. Pou walked right over, making Bob think for a moment that she might climb right down in.
WHERE THE BUFFALO WENT AND THE SAGEBRUSH GROWS
Utah offers starkly impressive wide open vistas.
SALT FLATS AND ANTELOPE ISLAND
True to form, Bob used an extra hour to visit the salt flats.
FROM DA PLANE
Salt flats and antelope island from on high.
DIA SHADOW PLAY
Denver International Airport from Delta flight 1802.
