Pam’s House

PAMELA’S WOODSY HOME

On the home front in Pam’s Piece of Paradise

July 23 through August 21, 2005

HAULING WATER

When we arrived, Pamela showed us how to get water from the stream at the edge of her property. Bob holds the white bucket, which is for kitchen water and Pam is carrying the blue bathroom bucket.

THE STREAM

Looking South, on the left and Looking North, on the right.

MOOSE PRINT

Bob points out a large moose print at the edge of the stream.

BACK TO THE HOUSE

Bob walks back towards the house with Pam in the lead. The weather has been a balmy 60 degrees on most days.

SWINGING SISTER

Pam shows us her spectacular swinging technique. This swing is strung so high it feels like you can reach the heavens.

FROM INSIDE

These are views from the sunny computer room which looks east and the view from the bedroom window upstairs, which also looks east towards out toward the swing and the stream.

CAMILLE’S ROCK COLLECTION

Every time Camille takes a walk, she brings back a rock because she finds their patterns fascinating.

PAM’S ANTLER COLLECTION

Here is one of three Moose Antlers we found in and around Pam’s house.

And one of the many varieties of mushrooms nestled in the soft moss.

GRAY WATER
LINE

Bob and Pam worked hard to get the drains inside the house to move water outside.

HERE’S PAMMY!

Pamela seemed to have a little too much fun chopping up this tree root with her ax.

UR FAVORITE PASTIME

Watching Bob’s beard grow.  One week on the left and two weeks on the right.

Three and four weeks, respectively.
