DISMANTLING A BIODIESEL PLANT

Bob, Steve and Rob take down the infrastructure and ship it away.

February 13 - 28, 2007

TAKING IT APART

Steve cuts the moorings while standing on his drywall stilts and Bob moves equipment with the forklift.

GETTING THE RIGHT ANGLE ON THINGS

There is a tip-over point one must be aware of and prepared for when moving huge tanks like this one.

I like the way these guys work together!

FEBRUARY 20 WAS A BIG DAY

On this day, much of the equipment will be loaded onto this truck.  The first thing the driver does is brace the truck with outriggers, lifting the wheels off the ground.

Then the tanks are readied for their trip.

AIRS ABOVE THE GROUND

Steve attaches the cables and the crane operator swings the tanks onto the flat bed.

Make no mistake - this job requires precision and teamwork!

AND DOWN THE ROAD

What a great sense of closure it is to watch the truck drive away!
